Mike and Carolyn Miller are career missionaries living in Kaohsiung along with two of their children, Stephen and Rebecca. They have lived there for five years and are serving as the Strategy Coordinators for the Hokkien Harvest Team. They have two daughters and one son-in-law living in the US.

Mike and Carolyn stay busy supervising a large team, doing personal evangelism, and training new believers. Their desire is to see a church planting movement begin resulting in many of the Hokkien people standing before the throne of God worshipping Him as Lord and Savior.

Jim and Brenda have been serving for over four years on the Masters Program with the IMB. They served two and a half years in China, six months in Thailand, and are now serving in Nanzih District, Kaohsiung. They have been here in Taiwan for one year. They are involved in ministry outreach from personal evangelism, church planting, and training others for CPM. They work alongside existing churches training them in the church planting movement process. They also train new believers they have shared with to go out, share the gospel, train others to do so; thus, planting multiplying churches from these groups, with a Church Planting Movement as the end vision, glorifying God.

[...] The Hokkien Harvest Team is dedicated to bringing this vision to a reality. They believe that God is calling his people around the world to pray for a harvest among the Hokkien people of the world, in which less than 1 percent are Christian. [...]

I am glad to be getting the updates once again. For some reason I did not receive the prayer updates for about a year or more.

I was part of a Union Baptist Association Team from Houston that partnered with the Taiwanese Baptist in the latter part of the 1990’s. Several of us were assigned to Robert and Donna Burris.

I will be praying for you as you seek to spread the gospel in Taiwan. Do not grow weary in you work, for in due time you will reap. Blessings, Beth Avery
