The End Vision

Hokkien Harvest End Vision

We envsion the Holy Spirit enabling Church Planting Movements among the world’s 49 million Hokkien people. We envision Hokkien missionaries taking the Good News cross-culturally to other unreached people groups in the world. Finally, we envision a multitude of Hokkien people worshipping at God’s throne in Heaven.

Church Planting Movement” is a relatively new term, though not an entirely new concept. It refers to a rapid multiplication of indigenous churches within a people group. A church planting movement is the natural result of a movement of God’s Spirit in which large numbers of people come to faith in Christ in a short span of time.

In earlier Christian history such movements were often referred to as “people movements.” Today, greater emphasis is given to incorporating these new believers in groups where they are discipled and equipped to lead emerging churches. In the past two decades, people movements resulting in rapid multiplication of indigenous churches have been observed among Buddhist, Muslim, Tribal, Hindu and Chinese peoples around the world. It is evident that only God can initiate such church planting movements.

Our desire is to cooperate with God in removing the obstacles that currently hinder a move of His Spirit among Hokkien speaking people.
